duplicated artists

There are two entries for the same John Doe

http://www.setlist.fm/setlists/john-doe-5bd68fd4.html
http://www.setlist.fm/setlists/john-doe-53c6f335.html

He's both an actor, bassist, poet, singer/songwriter AND a founding member of the band X.

@BlazinNathan

I was the one who combined the John Doe setlists together. About half were in one spot and half in the other.

I chose to put them all in the “US singer, songwriter, actor, poet & bassist” section because that is the primary Musicbrainz entry for him that lists his solo albums and other information.etc. The “member of LA band X” link actually redirects to their “US singer, songwriter, actor, poet & bassist” page.

I hope you consider moving your setlist back to the “US singer” place.

The “member of LA band X” link is the one of the two links that should be removed.

It doesn't make a difference to me. It's up to the moderators at this point to merge the entries or it will continue to be an issue. I'm a data freak, and do this exact type of work as a moderator for other sites, but am powerless to do anything about it here. I'll change it back, but any description of this artist should most definitely include mention of his work with X.

I posted as new topic, but probably the right place is here.

it seems that the dates of this band

and of this band

belong to the same band

You can edit the setlist to change it to the correct artist by clicking the “Edit Venue & Date” link. Then paste the MBID d88c38de-ca0b-454a-a493-8c1494b67c27 into the artist field, followed by a trailing space.

Could you please merge these two?

(Sorry if there's a newer thread for this kind of requests, I couldn't find such a thread.)

These two should be merged under the name Steve Harris British Lion.

According to MusicBrainz, they are separate artists.

You can edit the setlists to change the assigned artist by clicking the “Edit venue & date” link

According to musicbrainz these are the same:

https://www.setlist.fm/setlists/maudlin-13de05f9.html

https://www.setlist.fm/setlists/maudlin-3cecd1b.html

The last one doesn't have any setlists, thus can be deleted.

According to musicbrainz these are the same:

https://www.setlist.fm/setlists/biters-53c73371.html

https://www.setlist.fm/setlists/biters-3bd0cc74.html

There are many setlists in both Artists Setlists that have to be unite.

Hi
I noticed that there are 3 different “Pale Waves” but there's only one band. You can see that all 3 of them have setlists with the songs of the band. So it would be nice if you could merge that.

I think I created 2 profiles for the Boston based band The Dirty Truckers. I have only posted 1 set list so far. Can the duplicate be deleted? Thanks!!!
