The remaining members of Cuban supergroup “Buena Vista Social Club” have been touring as “Orquesta Buena Vista Social Club” since 2008. This is the official name of the group, so it seems to me that all of the setlist entries since 2008 should be changed to this name.

If that's their name and they are in the database then go for it.

The problem is I don't know the exact date when they switched to the new name.

There is no Orquesta Buena Vista Social Club in MusicBrainz so you would need to create it there first.
