Seriously it is annoying seeing a million blank setlists because someone added every day from a tour.

This is a wiki-like site, so more and more information gets added each time somebody finds more datas on a specific concert.
And as every user can see statistics about an artist, even blank setlists are more useful than having none.

Its not helpful in the least. It sucks when you go to add a setlist and it goes down as someone elses list. If I go to a concert and write down every song then add the content to a setlist already on the site it looks like it was the person who created the shows setlist. Even though they were not there and did nothing to deserve credit other than copy down tour dates.

You are free to be the first to create a specific setlist…
On a wiki-based site it's not about who's getting which credit, it's about contributing to the whole thing.

STL, who cares who creates the setlist? It makes no difference. The date is put there as a placeholder so you it can be recorded that there was a show that night.

Agreed with everyone else. It's a wiki-type site. It's better to have info on where artists played and when, even if the setlist is unavailable. Personally, I'm a completeist so I will keep adding shows that don't have one available.

Yep – it's great to have as full information as possible about where and when a band played – how many shows – which locations – which venues – even if there's no further detail about the show.
