The artist “Rammstein & Clawfinger” has been deleted due to legal restrictions. Please don‘t submit Rammstein setlists.

Just curious here, but has setlist.fm actually been confronted by Rammstein‘s management and ordered not to have setlists up, or was this more of a precaution in the face of their aggression? I noticed other sites have their setlists up and seem to be doing okay, though RammsteinNicCage‘s long gap since their last front page update has me concerned.

If Rammstein‘s issue is the listing of setlists that then link off to youtube etc, is it possible to allow listing of “when” rammstein played but lock the entries so setlist data can‘t be entered?

At least that way we could track when we last saw them live.

I really can‘t see how they could legally come at you for simply listing when the band played when no links off to 3rd party sites are present and no setlist details are listed.

Does it suck? yeah, but at the very least we can still track that we attended their gigs on here.

    Thoughts?

    Thanks for the suggestion bucketo.

However we have to turn down your feature request as they made it quite clear that they do not want anything related to them to show up online. If it‘s their wish setlist.fm respects that.

Man that‘s a drag. While we are here effectively celebrating going to see them live (which isn‘t cheap by the way) some lawyer-type is in an office grumbling (and getting paid well to grumble) that we are having fun and should stop :)

What‘s the point of setlist.fm when i can‘t enter all the concerts i‘ve attended?

    Grow some balls.
