    This is probably a dumb question but I can‘t seem to find the answer anywhere in the docs…how should the API key be sent with a request? I saw one page saying that certain API calls require a key but all endpoints seem to work without it for me.

    Any info on this would be helpful. Thanks!

    Hey there,

    you‘re of course right, currently methods of the API work without attaching an API key . But requesting an API key is nonetheless mandatory as setlist.fm would like to keep track who‘s using the API. In future versions of the API it might be necessary to send the API key for some methods.
