It appears that when a venue‘s name is changed it results in a separate venue record in the setlist.fm database. For instance National City Pavilion became PNC Pavilion but they appear as separate venues in the setlist.fm database.
Is this by design or an unintended consequence?
Sorry for the late reply, but we wanted to update the guidelines first. It is by design. Currently renamed venues should be two separate venues.
