We're in the process of improving it. Feel free to add suggestions.

It is also irritating when I search for a setlist with the search engine, then want to edit the “setlist info” (ie. Artist, Venue or Date). I have to either open the setlist and use the Edit Setlist Info button, or use the the Edit button in the search results, then move back to the “Basics” editing page…
Two mouseclicks where it was previously one, I know it sounds pedantic, but it gets annoying to have to do it time after time…

I also have a bunch of tour dates I want to add, sitting bookmarked as news website articles in my browser. I simply can't be bothered going through the three step process with each date! It's too much hassle, where previously it was so quick and simple.
When can I expect the new Add Setlist form to be implemented? Days? Weeks? Months?
I really want to add more to the database here, but it's not worth the added effort right now…

Edit:
I also think that an “add setlist on same date at same venue” button would be very helpful! Not sure who suggested it earlier, but I'm behind that idea very much too.

Edit 2:
Also, I like the idea of having an “add setlist at this venue” button on a venue's page. Would save a bit of typing and searching.

Edit 3:
ARRRGHHH!!!!!!!
So I just added a bunch of tour dates from this website:
http://www.inthemix.com.au/news/27731/Bliss_N_Eso_set_to_Get_Loose_around_the_country
I added Venues and Dates up until September 30, which was a festival date, and clicked Continue to Tour on all of these. I have found that this is currently the most efficient method of batch-adding setlists.
I then added blank setlists of the entire September 30 festival lineup (of artists currently existing on musicbrainz), and clicked all the way through to setlist creation.
http://www.setlist.fm/festival/2006/strikeback-iii-6bd682a2.html
I then returned to my half-created Bliss n Eso setlists. For some reason, when I click Continue to Songs or Back to Basics, I am taken to the setlist.fm homepage, and all my hard work is scrapped. I can't create any of these setlists without re-doing them all and putting in all of the information again…. What the hell???
Please, please, please restore the old setlist creation method until the new version is 100% ready to go. This three step method is insanely painful and frustrating to go through! All I want to do on this website is share concert information with other people all in the one place, yet it seems that it is becoming increasingly difficult to do so………

It is also irritating when I search for a setlist with the search engine, then want to edit the “setlist info“ (ie. Artist, Venue or Date).

Artist, Venue and Date should be correct in most of the time, so the more common case is to edit the songs. That's the reason why the link leads to the songs.

When can I expect the new Add Setlist form to be implemented? Days? Weeks? Months?

ASAP. Days rather than weeks, definitely not months.

I also think that an “add setlist on same date at same venue” button would be very helpful!

That's supported by the form currently known as “Power Editor options”?

Also, I like the idea of having an “add setlist at this venue” button on a venue‘s page.

Needs some evaluation.

ARRRGHHH!!!!!!!

Sorry. Don't know what went wrong.

Say there are setlists in chronological order 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. I am viewing setlist 3. On the right Relate Concert Setlists sidebar, it shows top-to-bottom :
2
1
3
4
5

instead of:
1
2
3
4
5

This changed probably a month ago. Not sure if anyone else has noticed…

Edit:
Not sure what's up with the spacing with those numbers I listed. I entered them as one line after the other…

I'm also curious why stats need to be compiled whenever I load an artist page. This didn't used to be the case, and now I have to refresh the page a few times to see the stats.

Caching/performance reasons.

I have to refresh the page a few times to see the stats.

A few times? Shouldn't take more than a few seconds.

Caching/performance reasons.

Will this be improved anytime soon?

A few times? Shouldn‘t take more than a few seconds.

Depends on how quickly I refresh it! ;)
Although occasionally no stats will load at all. I'll take note next time this happens.

Sorry, but that's got nothing to do with the new edit form anymore. We should bear in mind that other users are reading this thread to get information about the upcoming changes in the edit form. Please use a different thread for different questions.

It's looking good, thanks michi! I just added the most recent tour date of Ash Grunwald, and it picked up the tour name from the previous date. Awesome!

Everything else seems to have been fixed up too, I'll let you know if something's not right.

I found a problem!
Viewing a setlist in which the same artist performed twice on the one day, the other setlist from that day in not shown in the Related Concert Setlists.

eg.

Thanks. Although it's certainly a bug I'd like to make it clear that it isn't a new one and wasn't introduced with today's update :-).

Interesting… I posted about it here because I didn't notice it yesterday!
