The song was originally called Poor Wayfaring Stranger but the Poor eventually disappear and the song is now commonly known as The Wayfaring Stranger only.
You've made an edit on Peter Tosh's Don't Look Back because his rendition of the Temptations song was titled (You Gotta Walk) Don't Look Back.
Do what you feel, but do something! Anything, i want all the different interpretations joined tomorrow.
Same for God Bless America. Katie Smith or Irving Berlin. According to the guidelines, i think it ought to be called a Katie Smith cover.

This thread is for songs attributed to the wrong artist (that need a @Cover tag added or changed).

It's not possible to disable the auto-update feature.
Album assignments that are done manually should never be undone by the automatic updating.
However, album assignments that were done automatically may change, based on updated MusicBrainz data.

There is only one song called When the Saints Go Marching In. Paul Heatons had written a song called Little Red Rooster which had nothing to do with Howlin' Wolf's original. But these When the Saints Go Marching In are all the same. There ain't no confusion with When the Saints are Marching In which has never been played in any setlist yet.
