Avenged Sevenfold Setlist at Alamodome, San Antonio, TX, USA

Seriously screwed up. What happened to the encore!/
Seriously screwed up! Why the hell did they just walk off with no encore???
I don't know. Other stops on the tour have gotten one or two encore songs. In the 6 times I have seen them I have always gotten one. Even when they were the up-and-comers. Someone I know that works for the 'dome told me they were supposed to be on till 11 and they got off at 10:45.
More than likely they saw that a ton of people were leaving after unholy confesstions. Like seriously there were a lot of people leaving I was a bit surprised. It was emptying out fairly quickly. Also each band got to play 10 songs so maybe they gave some of their stagetime to bullet and 3DG
I wish they would release a statement if they were worried about time and songs, or if they were pissed at the crowd in a weird way. Gates didnt look too happy with the mosh pit while playing diamond in the rough.
I was there last night. Venue sucked, couldn't bring drinks to our seats and probably general admission as well, how the fuck is the crowd going to have a good time if we can't drink freely?
Crowd sucked as well during Avenged Sevenfold too, for the magnitude and size of it, it should've been a lot more crazier. I believe I saw more energy during the fucking Three Days Grace set.
While Avenged Sevenfold did a good show, I was thoroughly disappointed by the lack of an encore and overall lack of electricity in the air due to all the fucking t-shirt wearing fans just mainly being there for Three Days Grace, which shouldn't even be on a tour with A7X anyways. They don't go together, at all.
I believe that the Alamodome shut them down due to a 11 PM curfew. It was 10:50 when they left the stage.
I have never seen a show without an encore.
The Alamodome needs to stick to hosting football games.
The sound was awful too.
A real dissapointment.
Yeah, I was looking forward to "Save Me" after previewing their setlist here . . . yes, many of the fakes and wannabes headed out after "Unholy Confessions" and were probably only there for 3DG anyway, but A7X had a lot of dedicated fans in S.A. and should have played the encore for us. It was my first time seeing them, but definitely not the last, so better luck next time in regard to the quality of the audience and the venue. foREVer
yea that was some bull last night i waited til they took down the entire set before i left it was my first time seeing them and was looking forward to seeing "save me" live wonder who actually knows what happened to tell you the truth the crow was pathetic no mosh pits just lazy
It might of been that or a sickness. They just cancelled their show in Dallas due to an Illness. Maybe it was that. Who knows? Not sure.
I don't feel satisfied. See y'all at Uproar >:D
i drive 8 hours from just to see Avenged it really suck about no having a encore or just 10 songs i was waiting so bad for A little piece of heaven or scream in my opinion i really think that THREE DAYS GRACE rock the night!!!
I didn't want to leave, but the freaking security kept pushing us out. I noticed some things that bothered me. Matt's voice sounded a little hoarse. When Gates was on Zacky's side of the stage and got on the riser, he kinda glared at Zack. It was hard to miss since i was right in front. There was no moshing where i was, it made me disappointed, but then again, there wer a lot of little kids around. Maybe that was it?
Like I said before they were supposed to be on till 11, so it wasn't the Alamodome rushing them off the stage. The crowd sucked. Why treat your fans to an encore if they're not deserving of it? You feed of the energy of the crowd, and if they ain't bringing it why should you?
Drinks were allowed, why else would they have the mailing list sign up people get a free drink? And the vendors on the floor? I don't know where you were sitting Mike.
For lack of other options (Verizon Wireless Ampitheater - Selma) they had it at the dome. Illusions Theater is new so they wanted to host more shows. Albeit the sound ain't the best (they use roughly 1/8 of the total venue), you can't blame Alamodome for the way the crowd reacted, or didn't. The expected crowd was too small to be hosted at AT&T Center, and they are more expensive. 7500 attended.
The general admission sold out crazy fast, if they used that smaller area because they didnt think people would come, thats crap. more people were there in 2008 and they have only gotten bigger since then.
I was in the club level. The staff refused to let us go to our seats with our drinks in hand no matter whether we attempted taking the elevator to our floor to walking up the stairs.
And the At&T Center is not too big, they played there in 2008 on the Taste of Chaos tour when they headlined and that place got fairly filled up, so the fact is they could've easily filled atleast a fourth of the Alamodome.
All in all, this was the third time I've seen Avenged Sevenfold and this was by far the most disappointing. Venue ran by event staff who took their jobs too damn seriously, coupled with Three Days Grace bringing in their fanboys who are wanna be hardcore kids, equals for a fairly disappointing night. A7X better bring it at Uproar.
They will be amazing at uproar. Trust me.
