Of the 15 or so Bob shows I've seen since the late 70s, this was The Best. Six weeks after September 11 and he's playing "Searching for a Soldier's Grave" AND "Masters of War." He was debuting songs from "Love and Theft" -- "Sugar Baby" and "Mississippi" were standouts. Goosebump time on "Visions of Johanna." Plus it was probably the longest show he's played in 25 years...they just didn't ever seem to want to leave the stage. One of those Bob shows you hear about -- the ones that make you glad both you and he are alive at the same time -- but almost never get to see. Just amazing.
