#9 is a modest mouse cover, "the world at large"; #12 is tiltled "ageless beauty"
They closed the set with "Meeting in the Basement"... My fucking god, that was incredible.
"The Good Times Are Killing Me" had multiple meltdowns/falsestarts/arguements... it was almost disastrous, but they eventually got it together...
Don't think they did Pitter Patter... Meet Me in the Basement was also right before they played The Good Times Are Killing Me I'm pretty sure. They said it was the last song, then said they "were bad at ending shows" so they'd do "one more" and brought out Isaac for Good Times, then messed it up (got it together but took a long time to agree on how it went haha) and didn't want to end on a bad note and they played It's All Gonna Break to finally finish it all off. Texico Bitches was definitely in there, and I think Almost Crimes was a little earlier in the set..
Picture of the set list. Add It's All Gonna Break.http://i115.photobucket.com/albums/n300/HMPerri/296489_10150390013106066_585376065_10555880_433812381_n.jpg
Don't know how anyone kept track. The setlist photo was the setlist but they did not stick to it. It was a solid three hours. Best 7/4, epic almost crimes with Amy & Lisa, Andrew's guitar solo on Stars and Sons (?) blew everyone away. And to pull out Frightened Lives! They'll be back in several different forms people. Don't forget what you felt...
They only added a couple of songs to the set list pictured. The epic guitar solo was on Almost Crimes, and it was fucking awesome, wasn't it?! Holy shit. He played like a 7 minute solo it was awesome!
"Don't forget what you felt..." indeed. Dig that. God they're so good.
So pitter Patter probably wasn't played, but i've been trying to figure out what it was.... A really grandiose horn driven instrumental that has an epic crescendo that ascends with 4 long drawn out notes, with a quick descent of 12 notes, running down the scale in 2 or 3 octaves. Damn. I can actually hear them playing it in my head. It was also played right before the last song ("Meeting") at the Hardly Strictly festival earlier that day.... AAAARRGGGH! This is bugging me! :)
HAH! Figured it out! It was the end of " Ibi", but the sequence was out of order, and it messed me up.... They didn't play Pitter Patter. I think they let a lot of space occur between song, and the ending. What can i say... i was pretty drunk/high. :)
