This might have been the original setlist - it is the setlist that the camera man standing in front of me had - but it is not what was actually played. Unfortunately, there was only one encore (Stripped and Personal Jesus). They didn't play Strangelove, Master and Servant or Waiting for the Night.
Apparently they were playing Master And Servant and Stangelove at all the other shows on their European and US tour dates. I was highly disappointed that these top notch songs were not performed. I expected them at minimum since, on here, I've seen them on every other encore setlist. It's bad enought they don't play people are people, just can't get enough, and blasphemous rumors. A good show but not a great one Sat, Aug 1st.
geez hope this new short set list is not going forward as I am going to Las Vegas show. That would suck.
Tis was a disgrace that they cut out a whole encore. I was so excited to hear Master and Servant, Stripped, and Waiting for the Night, but oh well. Atlantic City is a disgrace as well as the Borgata for that matter. I paid over $130 each for 2 tickets. Total cost was over $270 and they must ave told Depeche Mode to get off the stage since it was so late. HUGE DISAPPONTMENT. I will never go to the Borgata again. $270 for no seats - all standing - sweating like a pig because of all the people squeezed inside and haave 3 or 4 songs cut. What a joke! I had to sell my New York tickets because it was too far. NY tix cost me over $280 for both and was only able to sell them for $80 to a scalpor. Shame on the Borgata and Depeche Mode for letting tickets be that outrageously EXPENSIVE. SHAME!!!!
this was a great setlist.
i'm pleased with the selist as is. the only real klunker was Come Back, though i forgive because it's a dave song. Borgata rocks as a venue. clearly the largest show i've seen there. what's sad is that they're expected to play the same 5 songs tour after tour for 20 years. It's No Good was a pleasure to hear live.
Depeche was great! It was great to see them at a small venue. Loved the setlist! Can't believe that people complain about not hearing the same hit songs. Hard core fans know every song on every cd and are thrilled to hear the cult classics live! The Borgata was a disgrace. I can't blame DM for cutting out the 2nd Encore, as it was so unbearably hot. The Borgata should be ashamed of themselves. Someone almost passed out near me from the heat. I can't even imagine what it was like for the band. Hopefully Depeche Mode will not return to the Borgata....I know that I won't be coming back.
wow...that is WEAK. I have seen DM every tour since Music For The Masses...that has to be the most lack luster of all the set lists I have seen. Short on length, not much diversity in songs (hits or album cuts, you name it THAT is a VERY poor set for such a pragmatic band!!) Bleh! Crap, I paid like $180 for mid range tickets in Seattle, recent lay off makes it a major expense. I sure hope they step it up 7 notches!
