Comments
Motorhead did not show up to open, so Foo Fighters played for nearly 3 1/2 hours. Amazing.
The show was phenominal. The opening band was pretty good and had actually won the audience over by the end of their set.
And the Foo's...wow. If there's a better frontman/performer/all around musician than Dave Grohl, I'd like to meet him. When he grabbed a bass and he and Taylor played Ace of Spades with Phill, Motorhead's guitarist, that was just awesome.
I was kinda bummed when I heard Motorhead wasn't going to be playing...but the Foo Fighters definately went above and beyond.
That was the best Foo Fighters show I have ever seen (my sixth). Here we are in the middle of America, not at Madison Square Garden, not at Wembley, just the little ole' MAC and we get this marathon, monster of a show. It was beyond what anyone could have expected. They just kept it coming, and we collectively showed the love. Just a spectacular experience. Thanks for putting on a show with that much heart for a crowd of 9000 regular joes. We appreciated it!!
