Note: Not the best italian Symophonica night, but for the ones who saw this tour for the first time, the sensation of perfection was obvious. George seemed to be a little tired in vocal terms: the very often microfone turned to the audience during "Russian roulette" was a prove. However a very enjoyble show as always, and elegance was the major value in the house. The setlist, with "True faith" and others, with different positions in the set respect to Verona or Florence shows, gave a very smoother and less-slow show. "Understand" sadly dissapeared in order to gave is place to Elton's "Idol". "Song to the siren" was incredibly good. Before encores, George gave a dimostration of what he does every night before getting on stage, in order to warm up his voice: that's why he and his vocalists gave a beautiful gospel a cappella for the joy of the audience. The surprise was "Wild is the wind": it started as the typical George's version you could hear on the "Songs from the last century" album, but after the first chorus, the drum suddenly exploded and the song became a rock and powerful redention very similar to the one played by Bowie at BBC concert in June 2000.
