the promotional material gives no mention of it be a part of Chinese Democracy World Tour ...
How long have they been promoting Chinese Democracy??? Jesus Axel get back in the studio and record another Album.
Tommy Stinson said when Guns N' Roses end the 2011 tour, they will go back to studio and record a new album.
As much as I love Chinese Democracy, I'm nervous about them recording another album. I think one of the reasons Chinese Democracy is so good is the long duration of time taken to record and produce it with TWO lead guitarists gracing the recording. I never had anything against Bumblefoot until I watched the webcast for this show on YouTube. He totally screwed up Welcome To The Jungle and during the solo he was adjusting his stormtrooper helmet, disgraceful in my opinion to the music being played. Besides that the band kicked ass from what I could tell from the webcast. Buckethead on the other hand who plays on more than half of the actual Chinese Democracy album is an incredible guitarist who has actually not been involved with GNR since 2004. So Chinese Democracy had two lead guitarists playing the album and was recorded/revised over a period of at least 8-10 years. Could GNR make another masterpiece like Chinese Democracy? Yeah, if the record company provides them enough time to properly do one and if Bumblefoot actually concentrates on his playing vs. what he did during WTTJ at this show. Not saying Bumblefoot is an incompetent guitarist, he did some great guitar work for Chinese Democracy. I'm just saying in parts of this particular show he seemed like he really didn't give a f**k about how his guitar playing sounded. He did a great job at Estranged though.
