Just got back and Maiden never fail to disappoint, immense gig. Again.
4th time I saw them, 3rd time in 12 months and the second in 2 days, having seen them in Birmingham the other night. Absolutely brilliant, the night only spoiled by my own self, i.e. no spare camera batteries and being right in the centre of the stage and next to a bass stack, so I couldn't really hear Smith, Gers or Murray and mostly heard 'Arry. But the crowd were great, and the venue is brilliant.
I wondered if Bruce was going to wave around the Union Jack during The Trooper, since it may have been considered insensitive by some parts of the community.
Turns out they just axed it from the set. Boo!
