Says the person who likes to spends his time posting sets that haven't happened yet and then randomly dissing the band's frontman.
hey snakee your a idiot. 1. as of this point unless you have a photo of a set dont fucking post anything. and the fact you wont a guy to kiss your ass is prity gay
Setlist will include Moonchild, Can I Play With Madness, The Prisioner, Phantom Of The Opera, The Number Of The Beast, Hallowed Be Thy Name, Wasted Years, Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son, The Clairvoyant, Fear Of The Dark, Iron Maiden (plus probably 2 more songs like Killers or Infinite Dreams) and Aces High, The Evil That Men Do and Run To The Hills as a encore.
how did you aqcuire that information get-heavy? it cant be taken seriously unless you site your source but may i say, it the order was changed i would love that setlist!
also "run to the hills" should not be played, perhaps "heaven can wait" would be a better choice? run to the hills is the most over played song in the maiden's catalog .
the concert hasn't happened yet. QUIT FUCKING WITH THE SETLIST AND POST IT ONCE IT HAPPENS.
WE'RE ALL WAITING FOR THIS. DON'T FUCK IT UP.
were is every body getting that setlist? is it just speculation or is it actually credible? what is the source of the setlist?
Iron Maiden Facebook page confirmed
Doesn't matter if it's confirmed, the show has not started yet.
In the promo video widely available on the web http://www.metalunderground.com/news/details.cfm?newsid=81800, Dave Murray holds the setlist in his hand. It's somewhat blurry but you can clearly see Wasted Years on the list and the final two songs: The Evil That Men Do and Run To The Hills. In the video they're also rehearsing 7th Son and The Prisioner. I think it's fair to say these are all included.
I think that someone should just lock this setlist for good until the show ends. Just a thought.
I took the information from here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=y10D0pu1mzM minute 1:18. If you put the video in HD and in full screen, you can view clearly the setlist.
I hope the information i have said before is true. I'd absolutely love that setlist.
I will do my best to update the actual songs, live. Alice Cooper just went on now, so we should expect Iron Maiden within the hour?
I envy you man. I'm all the way down here in Chile. and wish to be there to relive the maiden england concert. hopefully we'll get it in 2013.
Unfortunately, no. As I am not that big of an Alice Cooper fan, I probably don't even know the songs =(
Alice Cooper is over. Should be expecting Maiden within the next 20-30 minutes?
Thanks for the reply... I'm excited for you, hope you enjoy Maiden! July 8th can come quick enough!
Demigod keep us posted! Can't wait to see what's coming up when they come my way.
Intro has started... Up the Irons... I will try and keep you as updated as possible!
what is the intro? also 100 bucks says the first song is moonchild
everybody on this website owes me 100 bucks
up the fuckin irons see ya on yuly 2nd at the prudential center
THE SETLIST SO FAR IS NOT RIGHT... INTRO IS STILL GOING ON, GET OUT OF HERE
Wtf for a second i believed it was true. But what is going on? Intro still going on?
Wow. Someone's cool enough to fill us in on the setlist as it's happening and some jackass insists on fucking it up and telling us he wants Alexander the Great. Who doesn't? But they'll never play it.
i almost pissed myself when i saw alexander the great there
Official promo video of the 2012 tour and The Prisioner from the original tour: http://minutohm.com/2012/06/20/maiden-england-north-american-tour-2012-mais-uma-serie-historica-de-shows/
There is no way the intro has lasted over 20 minutes, its gonna be Moonchild, then a bunch of other awesome songs. Any updates from someone who is there and who happens to be kind enough to tell us about it and resist rocking out to the awesomeness?
Everyone is probably too distracted by Maiden to post the songs. When it's over the list will probably be posted within 10 minutes or so.
let the guy enjoy the show he cant be non stop posting on his phone
Demigod are you there for real or you re just an attention whore?
Wow, I am so sorry for taking the TIME out of the concert to want to post an accurate set list... if you prefer, I can stop? Ass.
You personally gave us hope...Well i apologise for being a dick
demigod we are all very grateful for your sacrifice and posting.
Did Orianthi play with Alice Cooper btw? Shes a blond haired shredder who played lead guitar in his band at the last few shows.
They're supposed to be playing Aces High. If they do this will be the first time it hasn't opened the show.
THE TROOPER?!?!?!?!?!?!? YOU BETTER NOT BE MESSING WITH ME!!!!
It was UpTheIrons who put The Trooper on the list.. just follow what demigod posts
People are making songs up... please just follow my posts. I can confirm here that the first four songs are MOONCHILD, CAN I PLAY WITH MADNESS, THE PRISONER, and TWO MINUTES TO MIDNIGHT
so this is the setlist then if those are the first 4 songs. Just follow the #ironmaiden on twitter everyone else agrees. Only problem is the major lack of Hallowed be thy Name
Would be a nice setlist, but no Hallowed be thy name? Doubt it.
Maybe its just missing from the setlist to throw everybody in this digital age we live in off. Its probably gonna be somewhere later in the show, but not on the setlist that was posted in my comment which seems to be right about the first 6 songs so far
So it's starting to look like this setlist http://whiplash.net/materias/news_838/157318-ironmaiden.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=twitter&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+feedburner%2FiSMr+%28WHIPLASH.NET+-+Rock+e+Heavy+Metal%29 is coming true.. so no hallowed or infinite dreams for us
I don't care to hear Infinite Dreams. And I'd give up Hallowed i guess to hear Phantom of the Opera, instead of Hallowed for the 20th time. Afraid to shoot strangers is suprising.
how do they sound, are they doing the ones that haven't been played since the 80s like they should?
^minus run to the hills and plus alexander the great of course
Omfg! Pics have already surfaced on twitter and the stage is way cool!
Run to the Hills is correct, cavalier Eddie took the stage as well
Search for brucedick1 on twitter. He posts setlist with pic in every track!
Looks like my work here is done, other people are accurately putting in the songs. I will check back after concert just to make sure everything is correct
Is there any streams of the show? If there is, please give me a link
I'll be honest, Aces High was very surprising to me... (yes, that is accurate)
Setlist is final:
1. Moonchild
2. Can I Play With Madness
3. The Prisoner
4. Two Minutes To Midnight
5. Afraid to Shoot Strangers
6. The Trooper
7. The Number of the Beast
8. Phantom of the Opera
9. Run to the Hills
10. Wasted Years
11. Seventh Son of a Seventh Son
12. The Clairvoyant
13. Fear of the Dark
14. Iron Maiden
ENCORE
15. Aces High
16. The Evil That Men Do
17. Running Free
Kind of surprised there is no Hallowed Be Thy Name, and I was looking forward to possibly seeing Infinite Dreams... my only two gripes. Other than that, AWESOME set, AWESOME stage, and AWESOME sound! This band is more powerful than ever!
i could do without the gers tracks and the trooper. i wouldn't be shocked to see a few songs get switched out as the tour progresses. they did that on the last tour.
thats a sick setlist. but no hallowed be thy name. i would kick 2 minutes to midnight for it
I'd get rid of Afraid for Infinite Dreams, Dark for Prophecy, and 2 Minutes for Hallowed :)
I think they put Afraid just for a Filler for a couple of shows too see what it sounds like and give bruce's voice a rest
Going to see Maiden for the second time in Detroit coming up. Great setlist, no complaints aside from the lack of Hallowed. Though I'm sure it will find it's way to the set soon. Infinite Dreams would have been nice too.
When they were talking about adding old favorites to the show I was hoping they would play "Remember Tomorrow".
I was hoping for a setlist with more Somewhere In Time songs, less earlier songs, and some more rarities. I would easily substitute Afraid to Shoot Strangers for Still Life, Run to the Hills for Infinite Dreams, The Trooper for Die With Your Boots On, Phantom of the Opera for Killers, Aces High for Hallowed Be Thy Name, and Fear of the Dark for Heaven Can Wait. I'd also love to see them perform The Prophecy, Only the Good Die Young, Caught Somewhere In Time, Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner, and Stranger In a Stranger Land. Overall I wish they played Maiden England in it's entirety along with the rest of Seventh Son and some key songs from Somewhere In Time. I doubt the setlist will change much, if it does, since their last couple tours only saw changed during different legs, not during the same leg of a tour. Gonna see them in August, and no matter what the setlist, I'm sure they will still kick ass and up the Irons! \m/
"Only the Good Die Young" would be awesome! They should replace "Afraid to Shoot Strangers" with that or something from the original 'Maiden England' like "Still Life" or "Infinite Dreams". Seriously, no "Hallowed Be Thy Name"? And this may sound crazy, but how amazing would it be if they opened with "Caught Somewhere in Time" instead since they haven't played that since 1987?
@gray96 That would be amazing, I was thinking of it be more structured around SSoaSS opening with Moonchild and closing with Only the Good Die Young for the main set and then opening with Caught Somewhere In Time for the encore since they both are great show openers. Basically they would play SSoaSS in order with songs filling up the space betweent he Seventh Son album songs and then closing with Caught Somewhere In Time with two of their standards like Run to the Hills and Running Free. Oh well, it is what it is and now it is no longer a prediction, it is basically a wishlist now (which is very unlikely to ever happen but hey, we can have dreams ;))
Yo hubiera cambiado Running free por HALLOWED BY THE NAME!!! (Creo que es un tema imprescindible), The prisoner por Infinite dreams, y phantom of the opera por Heaven can wait. Por lo demás una sorpresa de setlist xD
Unbelievable show. Sound and production were amazing, and Alice was a great opening. Slightly disappointed not to hear Killers or Still Life, but getting Phantom more than made up for it.
Also, I don't know how to enter it but the encore started with Churchill's Speech before Aces High. Otherwise setlist is correct, was 10 feet from stage in pit dead center.
So can someone tell me why they're ignoring Final Frontier? is this gonna be the type of set they play all tour? I'm seeing them tomorrow.
@WuTangStylez : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maiden_England_World_Tour
They don't play anything from Final Frontier because the album sucks and because they played it last year! Got it?
If by "get it" you mean "understand that you're a retarded cockfarmer who was conceived backstage at an L.A. Guns show", then yes, I read you loud and clear. I'll let you get back to bussing tables.
I have a feeling that Afraid and Phantom will eventually be replaced by songs with similar time lengths. They did that on the Final Frontier tour. I would LOVE to see Infinite Dreams when they hit Edmonton, but would also like to see Phantom stay.
Hallowed Be Thy Name is song that is meant to be in every single one of Iron Maiden's concert setlists.. i am a little disappointed that this songs is not the current setlist... and i really do hope they add it to the setlist when they come to Ottawa and Montreal... and even if they don't, i will still love them as much as i always do... and i will still definitely enjoy the concerts they are playing in ottawa and montreal... I'm really they are playing Afraid to shoot strangers! :D
being a dude that has never been able to see Maiden because they always skip FL, this setlist would be more than acceptable to me. I do love "Infinite Dreams" and "Phantom"
They're probably not playing Hallowed Be Thy Name because Steve's getting tired of everyone saying how predictable he is, rarely changes things up, etc. So why not lose a song that's been on every tour for years. Personally I wouldn't mind seeing Fear of the Dark go, but I'm sure they like the audience participation part of that song.
The only 2 songs worth going for are "Seventh Son Of a Seventh Son" and "The Prisoner". There's no "Killers", no "Infinite Dreams", no "Die With Your Boots On", no "Still Life" ,,, They shouldn't play anything recorded after 1988 and i will never understand why the hell they just won't play "Caught Somewhere In Time". Crap!!!
"Infinite Dreams" was what I wanted to hear most from the Maiden England setlist. "Killers" and "Die With Your Boots On" would have been great to hear. I would have loved it if they played "Caught Somewhere In Time" because that's one of my favorite Iron Maiden songs. They haven't played it since the Somewhere On Tour tour!
Awesome show!!! But I think Steve Harris Bass had too much treble and was way to high in the mix... Gers needs to stop swinging the guitar around ...he is the Dave Lee Roth of guitars... LOL. Murray is playing better than ever and Dickinson killed it!
