Not one bit happy. One song from every album my bollox. Ignored Rocka Rolla, ignored the entire Ripper era and played predictable "classics". If this is all JP can do they're better off retired. Definetly wont be buying a ticket

sakke June 7, 2011 8:49:46 PM UTC

I am very satisfied but not surprised, that setlist is almost the same as I expected. One surprise is Starbreaker and also Rapid Fire as an opening song. But this setlist is damn good.

jake June 7, 2011 8:49:51 PM UTC

edit: didnt see Never Satisfied. They still couldnt play a more powerful song like run of the mill. still pissed :P

I'm only missing Jawbreaker. Anyway, how many minutes was the show? (So I can compare with the time they play at the festival I go to)

fb:500294214 June 7, 2011 9:17:53 PM UTC

Hi. What band was supporting Judas Priest? The setlist looks good I think! Missing a few, but I guess that's the way it is :)

fubar June 8, 2011 7:12:45 AM UTC

hey jerk I mean jake sorry RIPPER ERA SUCKS!!!! Set list i great!!! Maybe you can travel by time machine back to 80's and satisfy your needs you dumbaaaaasssss

StVik June 8, 2011 7:17:01 AM UTC

Holy Sh!t, NICE setlist!
Sad that they don't play Living After Midnight, Hell Patrol and A Touch of Evil, however with a set like this, I doubt I will notice! : D

fubar June 8, 2011 7:18:31 AM UTC

And dont buy a ticket!!! Judas Priest doesent want you to come on their show!!! But you know what britney spears said that she will do entire era concert maybe you could go!! Prick!!

Fucking awesom!!!
some songs missing but still

fb:1366466817 June 8, 2011 10:32:59 AM UTC

We all have our favourites and that setlist does lack some of mine, forexample Freewheel Burning and there couldve been some other song from Nostradamus(underrated album) but still the list does look impressive and I´m sure I´ll be more than happy after saturday`s show!!..still wishing that K.K.was with them but what can you do =(

Viktor June 8, 2011 11:39:35 AM UTC

ignored rocka rolla? what about Never Satisfied?

fbdriven June 8, 2011 11:53:03 AM UTC

@Blackened, listing Hellion as @Tape throws off every Hellion and Electric Eye performance as, for some reason, Hellion is not listed as @Tape throughout every setlist, even though it should be. Should it be changed back for song stat consistency?

Chris h June 8, 2011 12:07:16 PM UTC

Australia goes to priest 6 weeks till the Uk tour
Freewheel burning !!! Please !!!

leglessmoof June 8, 2011 1:37:57 PM UTC
Setlist changed: View changes

None of the other setlists use @Tape on "The Hellion".

fb:100001237822877 June 8, 2011 2:11:19 PM UTC

The 2 covers, "Diamonds and Rust" and "The Green Manalishi" should be shown by what album they're from on the grpah instead of listed as covers.

jake June 8, 2011 2:43:45 PM UTC

i really fucking hate when pricks attack you for just giving your opinion. Respect goes a long way and btw Ripper era is 90's not 80's

fb:1291261599 June 8, 2011 6:10:40 PM UTC

PRIEST fan sinds 1980, first concert 1983 Dortmund Westfalenhalle. Who gives a fuck what PRIEST plays on a concert/festival ! There is just one thing that matters THEY PLAY!!!!! I lost count how many concerts/festivals I attended when PRIEST was playing, At Tilburg: GREAT SHOW, Graspop here we come and then Wacken

chris June 9, 2011 12:06:22 AM UTC

dude would have been great if priest had toured australia just once in the late 80s never thought wed get a chance to see em in the uk !! high voltage festival and bournemouth !!!!! priest bring the hammer dowm !!

fb:100001537099551 June 9, 2011 1:30:55 AM UTC

If they opened with Battle Hymn/One Shot at Glory, this would be perfect. Well, what can you do. Really nice setlist though, and really happy to see The Sentinel

The Hellion will not be @Tape

Oscar Skoog June 9, 2011 3:19:36 PM UTC

Wow, pretty nice setlist. Not all the songs I had hoped to be on the setlist, but I'm really glad to see Starbreaker on there.

british_steel June 10, 2011 1:14:35 AM UTC

Some answers to what has been asked:

Time: 2 hours 5 mins
Support: no, but depends on concert
Song before concert: War Pigs – Black Sabbath

QUESTION/DISCUSSION:
If The Hellion is listed as a real song then Battle Hymn and Dawn of Creation have to be too. On the albums those are all complete songs. During the shows they’re all coming from the tape. It’s all or none, my friends. The fact that the Hellion has been played a million times before doesn’t make it any different from the other two.

@british_steel -- Have the band ever performed "The Hellion"? Or has it always been an intro tape?

I can change "The Hellion" to @Tape in all the setlists, but I wasn't sure if the band ever performed it, or if it's always been a tape.

Blackened June 10, 2011 12:48:13 PM UTC

@leglessmoof i'm quite sure that the hellion always have been taped, but i think the halford's band played it live

Changing "The Hellion" to @Tape. If you believe this song was actually performed by the band, please feel free to change it back.

british_steel June 10, 2011 5:25:33 PM UTC

As far as I know the band has NEVER played the Hellion before. It has always come from tape. I will ask around though and I will let you all know.

Fact is, for sure, that in Tilburg it came from tape.

british_steel June 10, 2011 5:37:19 PM UTC

OK, it has always come from tape. Except, as you said, when played by Halford.

Vince Casa June 10, 2011 7:49:06 PM UTC

Apparently played in '88.

british_steel June 14, 2011 7:33:15 PM UTC

Rob said it was the first time in the band’s career that they were performing that song. It seems very odd to me that Priest would have played such a song only once. But I will ask around in the Quorum and let you all know.

fubar June 14, 2011 9:45:35 PM UTC

I know its 90's but it still suck. sorry you didn't tell your opinion you said that they should retire and that you wont buy the ticket so why are you even look at the setlist. you are still a prick
