Any idea if they played the Pulp Fiction theme as an outro to Fast Fuse?

wallver November 16, 2011 7:18:21 AM UTC

@Gavin, yes they played it, but please take in consideration that the song name is Misirlou and that Fast Fuse and the Pulp Fiction Theme are a Medley. iTunes is not a Bible. And if you don't want to name it as Misirlou at least write "Pulp Fiction Theme". Cheers.

iTunes got "Pulp Fiction" from the printed setlists however, that list it as "Pulp Fiction". Obviously, yes, it is Misirlou, but I think the band's title for their rendition should stick

Also, sure, it is a medley, but if we have it as "Fast Fuse/Misirlou", we will have 140 odd Fast Fuse entries and 25 odd medley entries which skews the totals

I feel that Pulp Fiction is the correct tag in this instance.

I've put it in for now, but what do people think? Do we need "Pulp Fiction Theme" as the tag?

I think they wrote just Pulp Fiction like Vlad instead of Vlad the Impaler. Setlists should describe what really happened and medley are a part of it. "Stuntman" and "I feel Love" are a medley too. I think the guidelines of this site are clear enough. I don't see a problem if there are 140 entries with Fast Fuse and 25 with Fast Fuse / Pulp Fiction Theme.

wallver November 16, 2011 7:17:45 PM UTC

Another solution, if you don't want to skew the total of the entries is to use a info tag like this => @Info[with "Pulp Fiction Theme" as outro] . Cheers.

I think that in the case of I Feel Love and Pulp Fiction, because they play the full piece of music (more or less) they should have their own slot.

As I said, if you don't want to consider it as outro, like in "your" statement on "your" first comment, and not even as medley at least write, Pulp Fiction Theme @Cover[Dick Dale and His Del-Tones], like in this Moby setlist http://tinyurl.com/7n3kjqu for example,
