Eh, Im not as pleased with the set list as I was when I saw them back in Jan @ Prudential Center but I guess they do have to mix it up a little bit to keep fans coming back. Glad I heard Fade to Black in that one since they rarely play it. Other than the setlist everything else was awesome and the classics they played where played well. Hope they come back to NYC sometime soon.
I agree....the setlist wasn't as good as when I saw them in Jan at Nassau Coliseum but they were still great.. I noticed they substituted Cyanide with My Apocalypse and they performed Judas Kiss instead of All Nightmare Long...I still have yet to hear two of my favorite Metallica songs (Sanitarium and Battery) so in that respect I was disappointed because I noticed none of them were played the previous night either and I thought for sure I'd hear one of them. Great show nevertheless even though I think the sound system at the Coliseum is better than the Garden and so was the crowd...
I don't know what these other comments are all about. This show was BOSS. Metallica kicked ass on every level. The opening acts could have been better, but hey, I didn't come to see Lamb of God..I came to see METALLICA! Creeping Death..Fade to Black..these guys know what their fans want to hear.
this was a great concert, but definitely not their best one
3rd time seeing them, i think the new stuff sounded great - jsut needs more time.
good show, didnt like the end with the house lights coming on.
