good solid show, the crowd was awesome. i thought it would be alot longer of s show it was only like 1:45 mins long. after the encore said something about curfew or some bullshit and that it was hot lol. which it was

What song had that badass violin solo

this was my third modest mouse show and i gotta be honest....they SUCK live. they are my absolute favorite band and their songs have a special place in my life, but dear god they CANNOT perform live at all. the singing is wretched, their musicianship is AWFUL...they seem to be playing different songs at the same time.

won't ever go to another show, but i will continue to listen to their albums and think of them fondly.

just my opinion...anyone else feel the same way?

Not me. I recorded the show and I think they sounded great. They're a hard studio band to replicate live, but they do pretty well.

I TOTALLY agree with you bemerick. I was so beyond excited to see modest mouse and after waiting through the cover band & the set up (which took 45 min!) I was utterly disappointed. The songs they chose to play weren't the best in the first place, but on top of that they didn't sound too great. My boyfriend described it pretty well when he said it was basically just a wall of sound.
