nope. don't change the damn setlists until you know it for sure.
lol this must be all bullshit. it just makes no sense that they play citizen erased and bliss to U2 fans. I'll wait for the true setlist
they played Citizen Erased once before while supporting U2 recently, so Bliss wouldn't be too much of a stretch I'd think. it's shorter than the other sets they've been playing so I'd guess Uprising and something else are in there too
Real deal, just came back from the concert.
Bliss and CE were both played, like it or not.
Wow, they play CE and Bliss to U2 fans? And not to their real fans at their gigs?
Unbelievable.
me and my friends had requested those songs in the last two concerts, and they ended up playing them in the concert where there weren't so many Muse fans. I hate the lack of criteria of them at writing down those set lists. of course there were more Muse fans in the two first concerts, because they had sold out first. well...
also didn't believe when Bliss started! thought they were going to play a set based on the last two ones but that one really surprised me!
if there is one thing muse fans should know, its that USUALLY, when they play a venue for consecutive nights, whether its 2 or 3 nights, the later shows,as in 2nd or 3rd shows are usually better! take Wembley September 11th 2010 compared to the night before...or 2nd night at Staples Center in LA 2010...most of the time, its better
That is seriously amazing, I love the whole opening with Citizen Erased thing too, real crowd pumper, pretty jealous of muse / U2 fans in brazil atm!
completely agree, absolute lack of criteria by the band, not to mention Bliss and CE are the most requested songs by their true fans (and not those pricks who only seen Starlight and SMBH on mtv and call themselves muse fans). Why is it that us true fans have to be just expecting a motherload of luck to listen/see their best songs? Un-f**ing-believable, I couldn't be more upset. I went to the first two gigs in Argentina and CE was played on the third one.
I can't f***ing believe that they played CE and Bliss when playing as a f****ing support for U2, where they surely were not appreciated.
At least they are still playing them, even if they are at the wrong venues.
when Bliss started i coudn´t believe too, i already guessed they would play CE, but definitely not Bliss! i felt sorry for them when Matt was singing Knights of Cydonia and he waited for the crowd to sing along in the chorus and then it was pretty much silence over a almost 100.000 people much show ( i felt i was the only one singing with them at the place i was, necks turned into me cuz i was screaming). i wish they had played older songs, but it was only a support show, what can they possibly do?
lol at those people "i can t believe they play bliss !"
NEWSFLASH : Bliss has been played for YEARS AND YEARS , I ve seen it 8 times out of 9 live gigs of mine between 2001 and 2009.
You should be thankful for Citizen Erased which is not even a single at all unlike Bliss IMO.
But again bitching about a gig you were NOT is just plain childish and ridiculous.
If you wanted badly Bliss and CE you had to listen to OOS when it was released and going to the OOS Tour DATES !
Not the point Tom.
The point is that fans have been asking for Bliss and Citizen Erased the entire Resistance Tour and it's a bit of a liberty that they play them at support shows rather than headline shows.
Fortunately, Muse recognise that Origin is the generally considered to be the "hardcore fans" favourite album so they're going to try and make it up to them at Reading. I'm still pessimistic however. Even if they came out and said they'd play the whole album as often as they could, I still wouldn't be sold.
Too many broken promises.
