we all know there gonna start with OoS so i took the liberty 2 add those songs :)
I honestly don't see why we have to wait for confirmation on the first 11 songs, the only possible changes there could be are intros / outros, or the unexpected drop of Dead Star or In Your World, that's it.
I'm confused, is this the full set? Or are they just cutting out tracks?
Don't be idiot please. All we know the setlist is the same they played two days ago. BBC is not broadcasting the full set. That's it.
Don't be a troll please, I was asking, I wasn't sure, not a crime.
Sorry for the confussion, people, I thought the broadcast was live! Sorry sorry sorry =(
BBC never broadcast live, and are too afraid of losing viewers by playing album tracks, even though they are probably bigger than everything by the Vaccines
THE FUCK
paul_bellamy Paul Bellamy
To clarify, they did most of origin in order, but saved a couple for later. Just had undisclosed, now on resistance. #Muse #Reading
are you sure ? The BBC could be broadcasting the songs in a different order than the one they were played.
They cut some, so theyre completely able to do that.
And that's the end of that cycle. Muse are done now until album #6. It's gonna be a while.
Woohoo! First to point these out, they were one of the highlights of the gig for me
Pretty sure the sweet child of mine riff was unintentional
so we can all agree that this is the best concert muse has performed since the release of the resistance. but what i think is that this is the best muse concert ever!! even better than HAARP or glastonbury 04/011 or rock am ring or reading 06....
I was at the gig, it was an encore.
I watched the pro-shot footage, it was an encore.
Give me reasons why it isn't an encore.
Because there was no gap between the end of Megalomania and the start of Stadium Siren. It was the same set. There was no encore at this show.
The band said the hits would always be played in an encore. Therefore, the hits were played in an encore.
And the fact that the last notes of Mega hadnt even finished before SS came on means that, yes, the 85,000 people at Reading called them on for an encore...
Nope.
Are you blind? Matt finished playing Megalomania on the piano, all 3 of the band stood, took the applause and went off stage. The lights went down and then the Stadium Siren started.
And there was no pause between any of it... it was all seamless. For an encore they'd have made us stand for at least a minute between the two happening.
+1 on not an encore. It was literally continued. The gap between 15 & 16 was longer. It was a second set and only that.
It was announced several times before the gig that they were going to play Origin and then ''the hits'', also leaving the stage was to make it more dramatic because it would have been awkward with them all being on the stage doing nothing for the length of the sirens. They did the exact same thing at Leeds. It was not an encore.
No, they did the same at Leeds and nobody CARED enough to debate it.
I complained to the BBC about them cutting the set and apparently they weren't allowed to show the whole thing - the band ( or their/the festival management ) wouldn't let them.
