I was there..

What a strange set. Trent looked rather pained and emotional throughout the set and definitely gave the impression that something wasn't right. That said, this was a brilliant chance to see some of the more emotional and melodic songs by NIN that don't always get aired at shows.

Wish they had played something other than Non-Entity, that song's really meh, they could have played March Of The Pigs or something more upbeat to break it up a bit...

Yeah I was a bit dissapointed with NIN personally. I think Trent was pissed off with something. I agree it was a good chance to see some less played songs but I still wish they would have done Terrible Lie or Head Like A Hole.

Very mellow set.
Trent definitely looked like he was putting a lot of emotional energy into all the songs.
Im sure everybody was disappointed that songs like 'Head Like A Hole' and 'Closer' were'nt played.
Very 'artsy fartsy'.

Very emotional set, nice to see the rarer less well known stuff. Sure terrible lie, sin would of been nice, but something i can never have was truly a beautiful live festival moment for me. NIN were the only reason i went...money well spent.

I thought that Hurt came earlier in the set...

Like other people, I was a bit disappointed in some ways (wanted them to play Only, personally), but I actually loved teh set. Sure, I'd have liked to see some of the bigger tunes, but that weird shifting emotional set was a hell of an experience for me.

The set was played on purpose. Excluded March of the Pigs + Head Like a Hole. The band opened up for Metallica. You can't win them over...so he played a quiet set :)

I personally loved the set, and made me a lot more into them because he showed they're not just a hit song regurgitator, but they played songs that were relevant.

Anyone got or know were I can get any sort of live recording from this? So far I've only got "The Way out is Through" and "Wish".

Ironically we saw them a couple of weeks before at T in the Park and they destroyed the place, in front of a pop audience. Then came to a metal show and played an easy listening set, as their last ever UK gig. Was not impressed, since Trent admitted he just did it to be awkward- "Fuck Metallica's fans" were his words but there were an awful lot of NIN fans there just for them, and absolutely gutted. Ah well.
