I'm afraid of Americans is not a Bowie cover, they both made the song... at the very least Trent was a featured artist in the production version so its not really a cover... ALSO, metal, is on his remix album things falling apart. Amazing concert.

Actually, "I'm Afraid of Americans" IS a Bowie song - it was released as a single from his Earthling album. Trent Reznor remixed it a bunch of times for a CD single, then appeared in the video for the track (they used his V1 remix as the video version).

Regardless, NIN really tore the sh*t out of the song live!

Great set, too bad they opened for Janes A-dick-tion. and mike? if that is indeed your real name, Im sick of fuckin wads like you, and your fascist ideals on how to enjoy music. Sure someone may have some misinformation on the whole bowie thing, so what? They obviously came to this page because of Nails, Frankly I don't really see the point in reading up on musicians, other than interesting anecdotes of course, otherwise you're just gathering fuel to troll around the internet with. Bowie didn't write that song for you to boost your superiority complex on the interwebz, he wrote it so we could all listen to it and enjoy it :)
