Please read the guidelines regarding Song Names:

The song appears on the CD as "Reverie/Harlequin Forest" so that's how it should appear on the setlist.

For the record, Cyberdrummer is correct; they did not play 'Reverie'.
In introducing the song, Mikael Ã…kerfeldt said "we're going to play Harlequin Forest" and that is all they played from the 'Ghost Reveries' album.
On the CD itself, 'Reverie' is contained in a pre-gap to 'Harlequin Forest' and counts down on the display from a negative time of -1.05 to zero, at which point 'Harlequin Forest' commences. Consequently it is very easy to separate the two.
Perhaps an info note could be added for the record to keep everybody happy.

Also, if you rip the CD in iTunes, Reverie is added to the end of Atonement (the previous song), not Harlequin Forest.

That's more to do with iTunes being a piece of shit than anything else ;)

well 1: no, that does not have to do with how iTunes is a piece of shit. pretty sure iTunes and Winamp ripped Ghost Reveries on both of my computers the same way.

and second, I heard this concert was recorded for a release, and I will lightly chuckle when I read the track listing and it just says "Harlequin Forest"

... :D

ravenheart June 1, 2010 10:47:55 PM UTC

iTunes ripping 'Reverie' at the end of 'Atonement' is entirely down to it being a piece of shit. If Winamp does the same, then ditto. Not that I would use Winamp to rip a CD... ?!

And yes, it was recorded for DVD. Chuckle away, you'll be the only one who cares.
