Opeth Setlist at High Voltage 2010

Uh, I can't believe the provided 90 mins of time was only enough for 5 tracks. I wanted to go badly but I didn't because of the distance and high entry fee... Do you know what I can expect in Katowice? (it's much closer, only 5 hours drive from here)

They didn't have 90 minutes. They had 60. Technical problems wasted the first 5 of those.

You can expect the above, plus probably Demon of The Fall, Advent and Blackwater Park at Metal Hammer Festival.

I'm basing it on seeing them in Sweden last month where they played those eight songs in a 90 minute set, and then stripped it down to the above five in a 60 minute set, and to six of the eight in Norway last month too.

I also follow their setlists in the light of the forthcoming Metal Hammer Festival.

seasonshu, how do you know they're gonna play 90 minutes in Katowice? Did you find a schedule of the event?

Here we have 90 min - I guess this was the plan. Maybe I should have deducted band gear changing time..

... however I do recall somewhere I have seen that 120 min was provided for Opeth. If we deduct 30 min for the setup we get 90.

Lol, yeah, duh. They were hardly going to play right up until Down came on. The official set times published by the festival didn't show any finishing times.

Fortunately, many of us fans were better informed.

says between 8.00pm and 9.00pm only?! Seems to be very very short for me :/ I remember between 8.00pm and 10.00pm (from some other webpage) but that may be the past :P
