Note: It was all about the second encore tonight. The Mama-son trilogy re-appeared on the set for the first time since June 28, 2008, although it was slightly altered with Hunger Strike being played before Alive. Eddie Vedder said "sometimes it takes just one person to make something great", as they were joined on stage by former Temple of the Dog colleague Chris Cornell. They played Hunger Strike together for the first time since October 28, 2003, and the song itself for the first time since September 1, 2006. After that, Alice in Chains guitarist Jerry Cantrell joined the band to close the night with Alive.
Comments
The Gods of the 90s descended on the last show of the Gibson in Los Angeles. Great closing with Chris Cornell and Jerry Cantrell!
Hi, I just wanted to point out that I don't think Evenflow was played that night -- and they definitely played Once. So I think that might be a mix-up in your setlist.
Evenflow was played on the 6th.
Evenflow was most definitely played on the 6th.
