It was the first time I saw Peter Gabriel.
Truely an amazing show. He fell on the crowd and we carried him over our heads. After the show I was able to meet him and he signed my untorn tickect. (I didn't have my id and was forced to sneak in through the back door.)
This was a small venue and at the time I had no idea what a rare treat this would turn out to be.
For his next two visits to Dallas I was able to get back stage passes but never had the chance to speak to him again.
On his forth visit I had (nice) tickets, however, didn't get to make the show.
Sadly, on his most recent tour, I found out too late and was unable to secure seats... instead I had a great dinner at Cattlemans Steak House in Oklahoma City on the night between his CO and north TX engagements. An incredible rainbow over the city was somewhat of a consolation for what I felt was my last chance to see Mr. Gabriel perform.
