I had no idea what Pink Floyd was. I had no idea they had a new album called Dark Side of the Moon. But I did stand right in front with my elbows on the stage. I took instamatic photos which I'll unearth and post to facebook someday. The light show was anemic...almost Spinal Tappish.
This particular show is very noteworthy in Pink Floyd history. It was the first U.S. show of the tour, the first where, "Dark Side of the Moon," was played in order using the DSOTM song titles and as they sounded on the album. It was also the only show of the tour to feature the fire show, which was outlawed at all subsequent venues after some small fires started on stage.
