Got the impression they might have finished one song earlier than expected because it was pretty hot and I think they were having a few technical issues. I'm picking the closer was supposed to be Song for the Dead.

Disappointing show??? Really?? Why did you bother mate??? Considering they were dealing with murderous heat and constant tech problems due to the temperature, they were unreal. Remember guitars and electrical gear does not like moisture and the ceiling was dripping onto their rigs. Bear in mind that Homme was also pretty sick. I agree that one hour was a bit on the nose but, godammit, they were unreal. Almost as good as the Melvins at the KA!!

F'n loved it! What would have been better to do on a stinking hot Monday night in Auckland? Maybe you just weren't drunk enough, if all you can do is bitch n moan about this and that ... go home and watch Coro St and keep yr complaints in the TV Guide next time Nana. Thank you QOTSA for the best Monday so far this year!!!

I definately would not call it disappointing, the show rocked! Who would have seen Walkin' on the Sidewalks coming? I was stoked to hear that. The review in the Herald said they cut it short with Mexicola and Feel Good Hit still left to play, which sucks because they would have been killer ending songs, but I'll take what we got because the conditions were terrible. Those boys live and breathe rock and roll.

I guess I worded it wrong. I was disappointed at the LENGTH of the show.
I thoroughly enjoyed what was played.

They played "How to Handle a Rope", QOTSA's greatest ever song..that was the clincher for me

Saw them 4 times, three times in OZ and this gig was a good as any of them
