Note: During the set large bonfires started to break out in the audience lawn area. These fires eventually caused an audio tower to catch fire during the encore break. Four rapes were also reported during the band's set.

Well actually the festival continued. There was a Jimi Hendrix tribute after the RHCP went off stage and on stage B Megadeth still played a full set.
Theres no way that they ended with Fire... You can clearly see in the videos John hadnt cut his shirt yet. He did that backstage during the intrupution from the fires before the encore
The fires in the crowd started before the encore. There was a stage announcement just after 'Me & My Friends' for people calm down and that the light tower was on fire.
