Rush Setlist at Starwood Amphitheatre, Antioch, TN, USA

I figured I'd leave a comment since I was looking through some old setlists. I was at this show and my friend and I got there before they had opened the gates to the parking lot! We were about the 3rd car to go in. We could hear them doing soundcheck playing Red Sector A. We had lawn seats so we parked, got out, and ran down that lawn right to the front/middle. I didn't know the T4E album that well but that didn't matter. One thing I did know that I wish I hadn't was the fact that they were going to end the 1st set with the entire 1st side of 2112!! Don't get me wrong, it was awesome!! But it would've been a hair more awesome if I didn't see it coming. They played Natural Science which is an all-time favorite. I remember the images on the giant screen as they played the middle part of The Trees. Definite highlight. Also, when they played Animate, each word was in big white letters on the big screen. Force Ten was a pleasant surprise. This was my 2nd time seeing them, the 1st time being on the Roll The Bones tour in Atlanta at The Omni. On this night though, they sounded great! They pulled off 2112 without a hitch! Unfortunately, the next several months to a year would test Neil's limits as he lost his daughter and then his wife. Thank God they came back after a hiatus. And thank God for setlist.fm.

If you didn't attend this show, then leave that thing alone. I stood and watched this concert with a pen and paper in hand. I knew this setlist long before websites like this existed. I can say I was there with the utmost honesty. Can you?
