I saw them before Comatose came out as well. I agree, I love the Comatose songs and I enjoy the Awake songs, but they really need to play Collide songs again

Oh honestly I wouldn't go that far back. I like the old old, but I'd put their prime at Collide and Comatose. Awake is still good, but not as strong as those two

Well it doesn't necessarily need to be original to be good music. I was just disappointed with Awake because I mostly didn't like how John's vocals were produced

Originality isn't easy to come by, because there has been so much of everything. So that shouldn't always be the deciding factor. As someone who writes songs, I feel like sometimes you have to give the song the sound that's right for it, and not try to redo it until it's original. But to each his own
