I'm a logical person and attributing the writing of a song to someone who didn't write it is not logical and makes no sense to me.

When someone contributes to a website he has to follow the guidelines.
When driving in your hometown you drive on the right side of the road, if you ever go to Japan, Australia, United Kingdom... I suppose you will drive on the other side?
What if a particular song, especially in the 50s or 60s was more popular on either side of the Atlantic?
