Maine native that recently relocated to New York. The shows are so much better here. R.I.P. good Mane shows. Used to be such a great scene back in the day.

I run and own my business; Alec Hartman Photography. My official title is a "Fine Art Nature, Wildlife and Landscape Photographer," or at least that's what I tell people, since it sounds good. My shop of prints, notecards etc is currently on hiatus due to the move and my two ".com" websites are super outdated so I'm using Instagram for the time so check that out.

When I'm not shooting nature, landscapes and wildlife I travel to and shoot shows as often as possible. It's always a bit of a tricky dance balancing my giant camera and lens (and sometimes flash) while simultaneously singing/screaming/dancing to the music like a maniac, but I make it work. I always go to shows of bands I'm interested in and they usually tend to end with me up front screaming along with my camera in tow, but three generations of cameras and their lenses have always survived even the most insane show conditions from 2003 - present.
