I went to the June 30 gig at the MTS Centre & it was excelent. Maiden sounded great as always, the stage production was good as well, & the crowd were into it. I have seen people complaining about the setlist not being about the classic 80's era when Maiden made it's mark, those people should have seen them on the last tour(Somewhere Back In Time in 2008). Much of this tours playlist is from "Brave New World" forward, & it's a very good setlist, presented as only Maiden can. Maiden does not remain static, they continue to put out some of the best rock/metal every album, & then they perform that music live as well as anyone. That's why Maiden have 1 of the largest & most loyal fanbases in all of music in the world today. I drove up 7 hours from the TwinCities to see them in Winnipeg, fought to keep my spot in the 2nd row on the floor in the rugby scrum that is the GA floor up by the barrier, & I will do it again next tour.
