Steve Perry and Eels

Thanks to a partnership between E and his Band, and Steve that gave way to these boys to end up on stage together. While Eels finishes up their European Tour, this music lover hopes they will all give us heads-up to make plans to attend. A ticket stateside to see Eels, and to see Steve – together and/or separate, would be such a gift. I can't wait…

I like Eels, but just cannot understand the Perry connection, and honestly loathe Perry & Journey. There was barely a period of music EVER that was worse than when Journey, Styx, REO, etc, etc, ad naseum ruled the airwaves. Short of a couple of good songs, it was just really, really bad, generic music short of just about everything I look for in what I listen to. I know we all have our “guilty pleasures” which is fine but it is rare that Journey lovers are exhibiting their guilty pleasure. It's a bad love affair of the truly tasteless.
