Adding New Songs

I have been trying to add some setlists for an artist that has no setlist entries. I created a new profile for him on MusicBrainz, including his entire discography. When I went to make his setlists here, setlist.fm synced with his MusicBrainz profile just fine, but hasn't yet imported the songs. I read somewhere on setlist.fm that it would take a few days to import the songs from the MusicBrainz database (I can no longer find that entry in the guidelines). It has been one week since I uploaded the songs into MusicBrainz. Should I wait longer? When I go to add songs to a setlist, I thought they would pop up automatically because they are on MusicBrainz. Do I still need to type them in? I'm just trying to figure out how to do this right so that there aren't redundancies. Thanks for the help.

Yes, for the first setlist you need to type them. Only songs that are currently used in setlists are shown in the edit form. The songs from musicbrainz are currently only used to match the album.
