@BoroSeadog – based on the venue website , the promoter page , etc it seems like Scarborough Open Air Theatre is an outdoor venue with a summer season of shows . Similar to US outdoor venues Forest Hills Stadium in Queens, NY and The Gorge Ampitheatre in Washington State with a “summer” season May – mid Sept/ when the weather is still nice enough for outdoor shows. Like The Gorge, the venue's location is remote.
The venue's 2024 concert schedule is sponsored by TK MAXX which is where I think the confusion lies in that LiveNation has to display “TKMAXX presents Scarborough Open Air Theatre” in the listing for each show.
Maybe the venue has been used for one-day or two-day festivals in the past? I wouldn't create a Festival for this summer's shows at the venue as they are all just independent shows held at the same venue over the extended summer months. Thanks for asking in the Forum.
