Wrong Song Title

Wrong Song Title

AFI's song “The Leaving Song, Pt. 2″ automatically gets correct to “The Leaving Song Pt. II”. On both Sing the Sorrow and AFI's live album, I Heard a Voice, it's listed as “The Leaving Song, Pt. 2″.

Changed it.

Awesome, thank you! Just a question, can song titles not have commas? Because the title has a comma before “Pt. 2″. If that's not possible that's fine!

It appears as “The Leaving Song Pt. II” on virtually every official source I can find; the back cover of Sing the Sorrow, on the official single (in large font on the artwork, no less), on the back cover of the I Heard a Voice DVD and the official YouTube upload. I only see it listed as “The Leaving Song, Pt. 2″ on iTunes.

That's what I get for trusting Gracenote (the service that finds titles when you rip CDs in iTunes). My bad!

Is it possible to batch correct a song title?

Keep on Loving You, by REO Speedwagon, is actually Keep On Loving You, with the capital O. I don't see any real reason in changing all 314 setlists with this song, but if it can be corrected without taking the time to go to each individual set, it'd be much appreciated.

Or it can keep the consistency already established. There is proof of the title being with the one capital O, but it doesn't seem completely logical to go ahead and correct it with a mistake that minute.

The song “Morning Has Broken” is incorrectly accredited to Cat Stevens, the correct artist is Eleanor Farjeon.

I know you can batch correct a song title, so I figured I'd drop this one off.

Cheers

I'm aware of the problem with this song and yes I can batch edit if I should.

The lyrics are by Eleanor Farjeon while the music is a traditional song. I couldn't find out for sure who had the first release/recording of this song, as this is essential for the cover-tag.

Do you have further informations/links ?

I don't believe much this website has to offer, but from what I gather the song itself had many different points of origin. I also couldn't find anything on a release before Stevens' album.

And that's the point.

I would suggest leaving it as it is right now, it can be changed easily if more information is available.

https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/vive-la-fete/2018/x-tra-zurich-switzerland-23973483.html In this setlist the Song 'Mots bleus' is always autocorrected to 'Mots Blues' :-( … that's not the right title.
