API Cross-Origin Request Blocked

Despite my request working in the Swagger interactive interface, I am unable to get any results when using the API. I have added my API key and Accept, application/json in my setRequestHeader, and I continue to get request blocked. Is the API data no longer free to use for non-commercial projects, or somehow unavailable?

No, API is up and working as usual. You're mentioning a Cross-Origin request, please read this entry about Cross Origin Requests
