Can someone please remind me the policy on download only release such as this one:
https://www.discogs.com/fr/Jett-Rebel-eah-eah-eah-No/release/13330190

As for now, all five songs are called others.

That's a question for the musicbrainz team. As far as I understand, a release is considered “official” if it is available (in physical or digital format) for purchase. I'm not sure of their take on artist-endorsed free downloads.

For those wanting to deal with these kinds of problems more directly, it's not hard to join Musicbrainz, which allows you to edit these kinds of things yourself. They give you a trial period to make sure you're not a troll or crank, but if you make decent edits and don't start conflicts, then they give you a lot of leeway.

Would it be possible to display the album pie chart for artists who only have Covers and Others?

eg. https://www.setlist.fm/stats/albums/the-ramainz-3d63daf.html

It would help a lot in cleaning up cover assignments for acts like this.

Looking into it. But sounds reasonable to me.

A good thing, all no name albums by band are importable now. Not only one of them.

Is it some tweaking here or on musicrainz that makes that possible?
I remember once, we had used an album by Audionite to have two albums called Rancid for Rancid.

There are so many songs assigned to songwriters that never released anything themselves. In order to avoid that, i barely ever write the credits, i’ll rather find another performance of the song by someone else to see what they did out of it.

In most cases, for all the performing artists, it was assigned to nothing at all and the few performances were recent all alone performances. I will usually assign it to the one that was assigned to an album but of course, that one artist may very well be known for not writing his own stuff. Also, the few other performance that you had already came across had been performed by Frank Sinatra forty years earlier.

If you're lucky, there's a wiki link to that artist and to his album and you found it that he had assigned the song to the same artist you had already found even though the song hadn't been assigned to him yet. Or in the other case, you found out that it's not the same song and since you had already assigned it to the one you thought, you realize that you did a whole lot of wrong edits. That only happens to me because most people don't really care who the song is assigned to, they don't even care if the song is correctly written at all.

I've re-read message and i don't understood a word of what i said.

When you had an info to a sonless setlist that nevertheless has a set title

https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/john-and-wayne/2008/the-huntsman-cockermouth-england-6b846e0a.html

The set title will be erased. Of course, in this case, this so-called set title should be an info

I didn't know that then so one of these band-pseudonym, presented as a set title, got erased.

As a matter of fact, John & Wayne have done numerous concerts using pseudonyms, it's mentioned as an @Set but these should be infos.

I'm posting this here because this a major edit.

I have decided to turn this into a Kelly Price setlist.

https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/kelly-price/2012/tru-hollywood-los-angeles-ca-4b920b4a.html

It was Whitney Houston last public performance but that doesn’t make it a concert by her.
Jimi Hendrix’s last public performance was at a concert by Eric Burdon’s War.
John Lennon last public performance was at a concert by Elton John.
Amy Winehouse last public performance was at a concert by Dionne Broomfield.
Each of them had a setlist of their own that has been erased. Same thing here.

Sadly, that’s the only thing that i managed to found out about the concert. Moderators might consider this as a festival like The Concert for Bangladesh which was advertised as a concert by George Harrison and his Friends. Well this was advertised as a concert by Kelly Price and her Friends

It's been four days now. I can't get to the Other Stats by the Beatles. In fact, nothing works on the Beatles stats. You want to see which songs from an album have been played live, it takes about an hour to show, you select a song, it takes an hour.

In such cases where the guests only play one song, there's only one setlist by the main act with@With[artist] or @Set[artist].

This is the best way to do it:

This is a known bug that's already being worked on.

Various Artists setlists

Not a bug. Please raise this case-by-case with the involved users, and politely explain why the Various Artists workaround is ideal.

What can I do?
