Huntington Beach based metal band Avenged Sevenfold are currently on the road for their headlining run on The Stage World Tour. The tour is named after the band's seventh studio album, released in 2016. The North America tour dates features support from A7X's rock peers Breaking Benjamin and Bullet For My Valentine. The 14-city run kicked off on January 12 at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena and is set to wrap up on February 11 at the Fargodome in Fargo, North Dakota.

Avenged Sevenfold's setlist at The Stage's World Tour kick-off opened up with a very fitting track, "The Stage." In addition to the band's hit singles like "Best and the Harlot," "Nightmare," "Chapter Four," "Bat Country," and "Unholy Confessions," the Southern California natives debuted "Higher" from their latest album live for the very first time. "Welcome to the Family" from Avenged Sevenfold's fifth studio album Nightmare, also found it's debut.
