After more than 15 years since her debut Las Vegas residency, A New Day…, Céline Dion’s second production Celine at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace will come to an end on June 8th, 2019.

"I definitely have mixed emotions about this final run.  Las Vegas has become my home and performing at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace has been a big part of my life for the past two decades.  It's been an amazing experience and I'm so grateful to all the fans who have come to see us throughout the years. Every show we do at the Colosseum throughout this fall, and right up until the final one, will feel very special."   

The pop icon spent much of 2018 touring the world on her Celine Dion Live Tour as well as performing in Las Vegas during her residency that she’s held since 2011. As far as Las Vegas residency’s go, Dion tops the list and is her own runner-up as the queen of Sin City! Combined, her two residencies, both at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, have grossed a colossal $630.6 million and sold 4,335,032 tickets.

To kickoff 2019, Dion will begin her final performances of her second residency at Caesars Palace. Her production will end in June after entertaining millions of fans in more than 1,000 shows since 2003. Want to see the pop sensation before her residency officially ends? What songs can I expect to hear?

Be prepared to hear some of Dion's most famous tracks, including "My Heart Will Go On," "That's the Way It Is" and "Because You Loved Me." She also debuted her song, “Ashes,” from Deadpool 2, last year during a special return to her residency after a brief hiatus and will very likely be showcasing that tune for fans.

What about the covers?

The iconic singer is known to try her hand at quite a few covers, including her beautiful and widely recognized rendition of "All by Myself" by Eric Carmen. Fans will also very likely hear Prince's "Kiss" and "Purple Rain," "The Power of Love" by Jennifer Rush, Elvis Presley's "Can't Help Falling in Love," "The Reason" by Carole King and other classic hits.

Any special guests?

She doesn't often incorporate special guests into her shows, however, with Lady Gaga now taking on her own Las Vegas residency we can only hope the pop queen will stop by for a special performance! Lady Gaga praised Céline Dion at the 2019 Golden Globes Awards after Dion was caught rocking out at her Enigma Las Vegas residency concert. Speaking to Access, Gaga said,

"She inspired my performance. I watched that video after I did that show, and then the next night when I sang ‘The Edge of Glory’ I was doing all the moves that Céline was doing because she outperformed me while I was singing! She’s an icon! And you know what is so wonderful? She is so kind."

Will there be an encore?

Likely only one song for the encore, Elvis Presley's "Can't Help Falling in Love," but considering Dion tends to perform much of her most beloved hits as well as classic covers, I'm pretty sure you'll leave her show more than satisfied.
