Live Photos: Greta Van Fleet Take On Seattle on 2019 World Tour

The nostalgia inspiring rock group Greta Van Fleet has a pretty exciting year ahead. Nominated for four GRAMMYS, including a coveted best new artist nod, the Michigan quartet have steadily built an impressive following and performed alongside famous rockers such as Smashing Pumpkins, Thirty Seconds To Mars, Bad Religion, AFI and more.
Still riding high off the release of their debut album, Anthem Of The Peaceful Army, which reached No. 3 on the Billboard 200 in July, the guys continue to work on new music with the hopes of releasing new tracks this year. In the meantime, to help keep the sets fresh on their current tour, which will hit South America and Japan this year, the band is bringing archival songs into the mix on occasion.
Well the guys did just that last night during the first of a two-night stint at the Paramount Theatre in Seattle, Washington, incorporating songs from their 2017 double EP, From The Fires,and their first full-length album, Anthem of the Peaceful Army. They also did a rendition of John Denver’s “The Music Is You” as well as “Evil” by Howlin’ Wolf.

Aside from their hectic touring schedule and the upcoming GRAMMY Awards, the rockers' will also appear as the musical guest on an upcoming installment of NBC sketch-comedy television show Saturday Night Live. The band will perform on the January 19th episode of SNL, with Actress Rachel Brosnahan on board as the host of the first Saturday Night Live episode of 2019.
