Tour Highlights: Snow Patrol Brings "Wildness" Around The World

Irish rock band Snow Patrol spent much of 2018 touring; first with pop sensation Ed Sheeran across North America, then on their own major headlining UK and Irish arena tour. Keeping the momentum going, they have also announced an extensive spring U.S. tour, their first headlining in the states since 2012.
The guys are highlighting Wildness, their first album in seven years, which showcases the band’s compelling songwriting abilities as well as thematic elements of perception, connection and the searching of meaning. Lead-singer and songwriter Gary Lightbody says of the album:
“There are many types of wildness, but I think it can be distilled into two: the wildness of the modern age, all its confusion, illogic and alienation and a more ancient wildness. Something primal, alive and beautiful that speaks to our true connectivity, our passion, our love, our communion with nature and each other. This is the kind of wildness the album is centered around. The loss of it. Trying to reconnect with it. To remember it.”
Continuing to tour in Europe with special guests Foy Vance, Ryan McMullan and JC Stewart, prior to kicking off a headlining tour in North America, we had to give you some of Snow Patrol's best highlights from their latest trek!
The Setlist
From their latest album, the guys are highlighting "Don't Give In," "What If This Is All the Love You Ever Get?," "Empress" and "Heal Me" within the setlist. Expect to hear a variety of the guys discography, however, including hits "Chasing Cars," "Just Say Yes," and "Open Your Eyes."

Guests of Honor
Aside from a special appearance last year by actress Minnie Driver during a show at The Fonda Center in Los Angeles, California on April 25, and Ashe at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey on September 21, the guys haven't brought any guests on stage for their latest trek. However, with an upcoming stint in Europe with special guests Foy Vance, Ryan McMullan and JC Stewart, as well as their trek in the U.S., we're sure we'll be seeing some more familiar faces.
The Encores
Snow Patrol's encore's have consisted of revisiting some old hit's such as fan favorite "Chasing Cars," "Just Say Yes" and "You're All I Have."
