Alexi Laiho's Last Show was a 17-Song Set w/ Bodom After Midnight

Yesterday (January 4) the sad news of 41-year-old Children of Bodom singer and guitarist Alexi Laiho's passing was made public.
The Finnish death metal musician had suffered long term health problems in the last recent years. A year ago, COB disbanded but soon after supergroup Bodom After Midnight was formed. In 2020 they recorded three songs and shot a music video, which has yet to be released. They were planning on performing at three festivals in summer of 2020, but due to the pandemic those were cancelled. Instead, the melodic black metal band made their live debut with three shows back in October in Seinäjoki, Finland.
These shows would mark the only BAM concerts to happen, and Laiho's last concerts before passing away. Today, we look back at the very last of the three concerts, performed on October 25th at Tavastia in Helsinki.
The 17-song setlist featured only COB songs, and boasted the same setlist as the previous two nights. No original BAM songs were played. The career-spanning set opened up with "Needled 24/7" and featured all five of COB most performed songs including "Angels Don't Kill," "Hate Me!," and main set enders "Downfall" and "Hate Crew Deathroll."
The two-song encore gifted fans with more of their beloved favorites, ending on "Are You Dead Yet?" and Laiho's last song he performed live - "In Your Face."
