Rockers Alter Bridge played their first show of the year last night (January 25) at the Hard Rock Events Center in Tampa, Florida. It was the first date of the US leg of the Pawns & Kings tour - they wrapped the Euro leg December 12 at the O2 Arena in London. See that setlist here.
The setlist remained largely the same - still opened with "Silver Tongue," closed the main set with their #1 most-performed song to date "Metalingus" and came back for a two-song encore made up of "Rise Today" and "Open Your Eyes."
Five songs in, they introduced Pawns & Kings track "Holiday" for the first time ever - check out some fan footage:
After "Broken Wings" and "Cry of Achilles" came the live debut of "Stay" which features guitarist Mark Tremonti on lead vocals. Check it out:
To date, Alter Bridge have performed 6 of 10 tracks from Pawns and Kings live.
