Coheed and Cambria and Taking Back Sunday Announce Joint Tour

Coheed and Cambria are back at it in 2025! The prog-rock icons have announced their second tour of the year, this time co-headlining alongside Taking Back Sunday for an emo extravaganza. They’ll kick off on August 16th in St. Louis, MO, continuing through September 21st in Seattle, WA.

People have already bought tickets for The Infinite Arc tour, the band’s trek with Mastodon taking place earlier this year. And while this expedition focuses more on Coheed and Cambria’s metal side, the joint concerts with Taking Back Sunday shed light on their emo roots. What better way to celebrate Coheed and Cambria’s 30th anniversary than by paying tribute to every rock sub-genre under the sun?

For three decades, Coheed & Cambria has proudly experimented with rock, pop, metal, post-hardcore and so much more. And you’ll see and hear it all in 2025. These shows with Taking Back Sunday will commemorate not only their full discography, but also their eleventh album, Vaxis – Act III: The Father of Make Believe, due out later this year. The third edition in their “Vaxis” series, you’ll be exposed to the most out-of-this-world rock anthems that only Claudio Sanchez and Co. can pull off.

They’ve just released the first single, “Someone Who Can,” an adventurous track that’s destined to become a crowd pleaser. Commenting on the song’s meaning, Sanchez was very open. "When you’re growing up, you’re perpetually trying to understand the world that’s changing around you. Over time, it’s comforting to reach the conclusion that you’ll never truly have things figured out."

The most relatable song undertone, ever? We think so. Even a multiplatinum band like Coheed and Cambria are still floating through life and trying to find their place in the world. And you’ll be exposed to even more iconic new songs when their album is released on March 14th. In the meantime, why not buy tickets to see their once-in-a-lifetime live show? Along with the the Infinite Arc tour, you can buy tickets to see Coheed & Cambria and Taking Back Sunday beginning this Friday, January 17th. See dates below.
